Being Young at Heart

I recently got hooked on a computer game called Kerbal Space Program. It’s a light-hearted space simulator in which you design your own rockets and explore a fictionalized solar system. During one of my recent missions I became very intrigued by one of the fake planets and had that giddy feeling I remember having as a kid. I think that’s why I like the game so much. It reminds me of being a kid. I can imagine what it would be like to have this game as a kid; I’d map every planet on notebook paper, name every mission and record all the details, have every planet, moon, and rocket component memorized down to the last byte… Yeah, when I was a kid, Andy I would’ve totally did those things…

Then I realized I said the words, “when I was a kid.”
I HAVE to say those words now. There’s no going back…

I miss those days.
